Description
Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. Versions 1.2.30 and prior are vulnerable to Reflected XSS via tab parameter in the auth_profile.php JavaScript context. This issue has been fixed in version 1.2.31.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Cacti versions through 1.2.30. The issue arises in the auth_profile.php file, where the tab parameter is not properly sanitized before being output into the JavaScript context. This flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts that could be executed in the user's browser.
Users can upgrade to Cacti version 1.2.31 or later to address this vulnerability.
