Description
Weblate is a web based localization tool. In versions prior to 5.17, the webhook add-on did not utilize existing SSRF protections. This issue has been fixed in version 5.17. If developers are unable to update immediately, they can disable the webhook add-on as a workaround.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Weblate webhook add-on, affecting versions prior to 5.17. The issue arises because the add-on did not properly implement existing SSRF protections, allowing for potential exploitation. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 5.17. Users who cannot update immediately can disable the webhook add-on as a temporary workaround.
Users can update to Weblate version 5.17 to address this vulnerability. If an immediate update is not possible, the webhook add-on can be disabled as a temporary measure.
