Description
Subscriber Arbitrary File Upload in WP-BusinessDirectory <= 4.0.0 versions.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary file uploads has been identified in the WP-BusinessDirectory WordPress plugin, affecting versions through 4.0.0. This vulnerability arises from insufficient file upload restrictions, enabling subscribers to upload potentially malicious files, such as backdoors, which could be executed to gain unauthorized access to the website.
Users of the WP-BusinessDirectory WordPress plugin should update to version 4.0.1 or later to address this vulnerability. Patchstack users can enable auto-updates for vulnerable plugins.
