Description
Unauthenticated PHP Object Injection in NeoBeat <= 1.7 versions.
A PHP object injection vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress NeoBeat theme, affecting versions through 1.7. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to manipulate object serialization, which could lead to various types of code execution or injection, such as SQL injection, path traversal, or denial-of-service, especially if a suitable object injection chain is exploited.
Users are advised to update the NeoBeat theme to version 1.8 or later. Patchstack has also provided a mitigation rule to block attacks until the update is applied.
