Description
A SQL injection vulnerability in SOGo before 5.12.7 allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL statements via the newPassword parameter in the password change functionality.
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in SOGo versions prior to 5.12.7. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL statements by exploiting the newPassword parameter in the password change feature. The issue affects installations with at least one PostgreSQL user source, where it could lead to unauthorized password changes, database compromise, and execution of server-side code.
Users can upgrade to SOGo version 5.12.7 to address this vulnerability.
