Description
An issue in Unistal Systems Pvt. Ltd.Protegent 360 v2.0.0.4 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the kernel driver pgsecdl.sys
A privilege escalation vulnerability has been identified in Unistal Systems Protegent 360 version 2.0.0.4. The issue arises from the Protegent File Filter kernel driver (pgsecdl.sys), which lacks proper access controls, allowing local attackers to escalate privileges. This vulnerability enables unprivileged users to disable process protection, overwrite critical system files, and cause a denial-of-service by crashing the system.
Users are advised to uninstall Unistal Protegent 360 or disable the associated kernel drivers to prevent exploitation of this vulnerability.
