Description
A security flaw has been discovered in SourceCodester Web-based Pharmacy Product Management System 1.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file edit-profile.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument fullname results in cross site scripting. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in SourceCodester Web-Based Pharmacy Product Management System version 1.0. The issue resides in the profile management feature, specifically within the edit-profile.php file. The vulnerability is triggered by manipulating the fullname parameter, allowing authenticated users to inject malicious JavaScript. This injected script is persistently stored and executed automatically across the application, potentially leading to session hijacking or unauthorized actions.
