Description
A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester Client Database Management System 1.0/3.1. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /superadmin_delete_manager.php of the component Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument manager_id leads to improper authorization. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A vulnerability exists in SourceCodester Client Database Management System versions 1.0 and 3.1. The issue is located in the Endpoint component, specifically within the file 'superadmin_delete_manager.php'. This vulnerability allows for improper authorization, as the file does not require authentication or validate user roles before executing deletion requests. An unauthenticated attacker can remotely send POST requests with a 'manager_id' parameter to delete sales managers from the system. The absence of session verification or authorization checks before performing the delete operation creates a significant access control flaw.
