Description
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in MSI NBFoundation Service v.2.0.2506.1201 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the 3DES-ECB encryption
A vulnerability in MSI NBFoundation Service version 2.0.2506.1201 has been identified, allowing remote attackers to access sensitive information. This issue arises from insecure permissions that expose a named pipe to all authenticated users. The pipe's communication is encrypted using a predictable 3DES-ECB cipher, enabling unauthorized data access.
Users are advised to upgrade MSI Center to version 2.0.70.0 or later. The update can be obtained through the official MSI update channel.
