Description
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in MSI NBFoundation Service v.2.0.2506.1201 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the MSIAPService.exe component
A vulnerability in MSI Center's NBFoundation Service, specifically in version 2.0.2506.1201, allows remote attackers to access sensitive information through the MSIAPService.exe component. This issue arises from insecure permissions that expose a named pipe to all authenticated users, enabling unauthorized data access.
Users are advised to upgrade MSI Center to version 2.0.70.0 or later. The fixed version removes the insecure permissions and adds proper authentication to the command groups that were previously exposed.
