Description
Shenzhen Tenda Technology Co., Ltd Tenda PW201A v1.0.5 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow in the page parameter of the SafeMacFilter function. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted HTTP request.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Tenda PW201A router, specifically in version 1.0.5. The issue arises in the SafeMacFilter function, where user-controlled HTTP parameters are processed in a way that allows for buffer overflow. This vulnerability can be exploited by sending a crafted HTTP request with a long 'page' parameter, causing the device to crash or become unstable.
