Description
IBM Cloud APM, Base Private 8.1.4 and IBM Cloud APM, Advanced Private 8.1.4 IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes DB2 Connect Server) could allow an authenticated user to cause a denial of service due to improper neutralization of special elements in the data query logic of the Fenced environment.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in IBM Cloud APM, Base Private and Advanced Private, both version 8.1.4. This issue arises from improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic, which could allow an authenticated user to disrupt service in the Fenced environment.
Users can apply the 8.1.4.0-IBM-APM-SERVER-IF0004 or later server patch. Interim fixes for Cloud APM version 8.1.4 are available from IBM Fix Central.
