Description
An issue in the cluster-admin:backup-datastore component of Controller v12.0.5 allows attackers to execute a directory traversal via a crafted request.
A directory traversal vulnerability has been identified in the cluster-admin:backup-datastore component of OpenDaylight Controller version 12.0.5. This issue allows remote attackers to execute a directory traversal via a crafted request, potentially leading to the writing of arbitrary files to locations accessible by the OpenDaylight process.
It is recommended to validate and restrict the file-path parameter to a permitted base directory, rejecting any paths that resolve outside of it.
