Description
An undocumented debug CGI endpoint in T3 Technology CPE models T625Pro v1.0.07, T6825G v1.0.03 allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands as root via supplying a crafted HTTP query string.
A vulnerability exists in T3 Technology CPE models T625Pro v1.0.07 and T6825G v1.0.03, allowing unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary system commands as root. This is achieved by sending a crafted HTTP query string to an undocumented debug CGI endpoint, '/cgi-bin/shortcut_telnet.cgi'. The vulnerability can be exploited through Blind Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) from outside the local network.
Users are advised to remove or disable the debug CGI endpoint in production firmware. Additionally, all CGI endpoints should enforce session-based authentication, and debug endpoints must not be included in release firmware.
