Description
Incorrect access control in the web management interface of T3 Technology CPE models T625Pro v1.0.07, T6825G v1.0.03, and T7281 v1.0.03 allows unauthorized attackers to enable the Telnet service via sending a crafted request to a vulnerable CGI component.
A vulnerability exists in the web management interface of T3 Technology CPE models T625Pro v1.0.07, T6825G v1.0.03, and T7281 v1.0.03. The issue stems from incorrect access control in a CGI component, which allows unauthorized attackers to enable the Telnet service by sending a crafted request. This vulnerability can be exploited by any device on the same local network segment, as the CGI endpoint does not require authentication or session validation.
Users are advised to monitor for unauthorized activation of the Telnet service and to restrict access to the CPE management interface through network segmentation. The vendor should implement authentication for all CGI endpoints.
