Description
OpenClaw before 2026.3.25 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability allowing non-admin operators to self-request broader scopes during backend reconnect. Attackers can bypass pairing requirements to reconnect as operator.admin, gaining unauthorized administrative privileges.
A privilege escalation vulnerability has been identified in OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.25. This vulnerability allows non-admin operators to self-request broader scopes during backend reconnects, bypassing pairing requirements. As a result, these operators can reconnect as 'operator.admin', gaining unauthorized administrative privileges.
Users can update to OpenClaw version 2026.3.25 or later to address this vulnerability.
