Description
OpenClaw before 2026.3.25 contains an access control vulnerability where verification notices bypass DM policy checks and reply to unpaired peers. Attackers can send verification notices to users outside allowed direct message policies by exploiting insufficient access validation before message transmission.
An access control vulnerability has been identified in OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.25. This vulnerability allows verification notices to bypass direct message (DM) policy checks and respond to unpaired peers. Exploitation occurs due to inadequate access validation before messages are sent, enabling attackers to send verification notices to users outside the permitted DM policies.
Users can update to OpenClaw version 2026.3.25 or later to address this vulnerability.
