Description
Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.471, Coolify server and project lookups are not scoped to the current team, allowing any authenticated user to access servers and projects belonging to other teams by specifying their IDs directly. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.0-beta.471.
A cross-team insecure direct object reference vulnerability has been identified in Coolify, an open-source tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. This issue affects versions prior to 4.0.0-beta.471. The vulnerability arises because server and project lookups are not restricted to the current team, allowing authenticated users to access servers and projects from other teams by directly specifying their IDs. This could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive resources, including SSH keys and infrastructure details.
Users are advised to update to Coolify version 4.0.0-beta.471 or later. Additionally, all server and project queries should be scoped to the current user's team, with team-level authorization checks added to all resource lookup endpoints.
