CVE-2026-34107 Details
Description
Guardian language-system passes the id GET parameter directly into a PHP exec() call in translate.php (line 14) without sanitization: exec(\"php jobs/translate.php \".$login_session.\" \".$_GET['id'].\" ...\"). No authentication is required. An unauthenticated remote attacker can append shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary OS commands on the server.
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the Guardian language-system, specifically in the 'translate.php' file. The issue arises because the 'id' GET parameter is passed directly to a PHP 'exec()' function call without proper sanitization. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server by appending shell metacharacters to the 'id' parameter. The vulnerability affects all versions of the language-system up to commit e42c395.
