Description
A rogue primary server may cause file descriptor exhaustion and eventually a denial of service, when a PowerDNS secondary server forwards a DNS update request to it.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in PowerDNS secondary servers. When these servers forward DNS update requests to a rogue primary server, it can lead to file descriptor exhaustion, causing service disruption.
