CVE-2026-33267 Details
Description
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache Traffic Server. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 9.2.0 through 9.2.14, from 10.1.0 through 10.1.3. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.15 or 10.1.4, which fixes the issue.
An improper input validation vulnerability has been identified in Apache Traffic Server. This issue affects versions 9.2.0 prior to 9.2.14 and 10.1.0 prior to 10.1.3. The vulnerability arises because Apache Traffic Server does not properly strip Connection-listed hop-by-hop or internal headers from untrusted peers before executing plugin hooks. This oversight can lead to request smuggling and metadata injection.
Users of Apache Traffic Server 9.x should upgrade to version 9.2.15 or later. Users of Apache Traffic Server 10.x should upgrade to version 10.1.4 or later.
