CVE-2026-32777 Details
Description
libexpat before 2.7.5 allows an infinite loop while parsing DTD content.
A vulnerability in libexpat prior to version 2.7.5 allows for the creation of an infinite loop when the library is parsing Document Type Definition (DTD) content. This issue was identified through fuzz testing, which revealed that the parser could get stuck in a loop, repeatedly processing the same token without making progress, effectively causing a timeout.
Users are advised to update to libexpat version 2.7.5 or later, where this vulnerability has been fixed.
