Description
The MailerLite – Signup forms (official) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the forms() method of the AdminController class in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.21. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to create or delete arbitrary signup forms.
A vulnerability exists in the MailerLite Signup Forms (official) WordPress plugin, in versions through 1.7.21. The issue arises from a lack of proper capability checks in the forms() method of the AdminController class. This flaw enables authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to create or delete any signup forms, leading to unauthorized data manipulation.
Users are advised to update the MailerLite Signup Forms plugin to version 1.7.22 or a later patched version.
