Description
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Mikado-Themes Halstein halstein allows Object Injection.This issue affects Halstein: from n/a through < 1.8.
A deserialization vulnerability allowing PHP object injection has been identified in the Mikado Themes Halstein WordPress theme, affecting versions prior to 1.8. This vulnerability could be exploited to execute arbitrary code, potentially leading to further issues such as SQL injection, path traversal, or denial-of-service, especially if a suitable object injection chain is available.
Users are advised to update the Halstein WordPress theme to version 1.8 or later. Patchstack has also provided a mitigation rule to block attacks targeting this vulnerability.
