Description
Insertion of sensitive information into log file in Windows Kernel allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
A vulnerability exists in the Windows Kernel that allows an authorized attacker to locally disclose sensitive information by inserting it into a log file. This could potentially include reading contents of Kernel memory from a user mode process.
Users can download the security update for this vulnerability via the Microsoft Update Catalog. Security update KB5082200 addresses this vulnerability in various Windows 10 and Windows 11 versions.
