Description
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Native WiFi Miniport Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over an adjacent network.
A race condition vulnerability has been identified in the Windows Native WiFi Miniport Driver. This vulnerability allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over an adjacent network. It arises from concurrent execution using a shared resource with improper synchronization.
Users can download the security update for this vulnerability through the Microsoft Update Catalog. Security Update KB5087544 is available for Windows 10 versions 21H2 and 22H2, as well as for Windows 11 versions 24H2 and 26H1. For Windows Server, Security Update KB5087545 can be applied.
