Description
Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in RTI Connext Micro (Core Libraries) allows Overread Buffers. This issue affects Connext Micro: from 4.0.0 before 4.3.0, from 2.4.5 before 2.4.*.
A critical out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified in RTI Connext Micro core libraries, specifically in versions 4.0.0 prior to 4.3.0. This vulnerability allows for buffer overreads, which could be exploited by sending malicious RTPS messages, potentially leading to application crashes or minor confidentiality impacts.
Users can upgrade to RTI Connext Micro version 4.3.0 or later. Patches for other architectures are available upon request through the RTI Customer Portal.
