Description
A vulnerability has been found in UTT HiPER 810G up to 1.7.7-1711. Impacted is the function strcpy of the file /goform/setSysAdm. The manipulation of the argument passwd1 leads to buffer overflow. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the UTT HiPER 810G router, in firmware versions through 1.7.7-1711. The issue arises in the /goform/setSysAdm file, where the strcpy function is used to copy data from the passwd1 parameter into a memory location without proper size validation. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, leading to potential buffer overflow attacks and denial-of-service conditions.
