Description
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server's mod_md via OCSP response data. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.30 through 2.4.66. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue.
A resource exhaustion vulnerability has been identified in Apache HTTP Server's mod_md module, versions 2.4.30 prior to 2.4.66. This vulnerability arises from the handling of OCSP response data, which can lead to unlimited resource allocation without proper limits or throttling. Exploitation of this issue can cause the server to consume excessive resources, potentially leading to a denial-of-service condition.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache HTTP Server version 2.4.67, which addresses this vulnerability.
