Description
This issue was addressed by adding an additional prompt for user consent. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.9 and iPadOS 18.7.9, iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5, visionOS 26.5. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data.
A vulnerability exists across various Apple platforms, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS, allowing apps to access sensitive user data without proper authorization. This issue stems from inadequate permissions management, which has been addressed by implementing additional consent prompts and restrictions. The vulnerability affects multiple device generations and was publicly disclosed by Apple.
Users can update to the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS Sequoia, macOS Sonoma, or visionOS to address this vulnerability.
