Description
An information leakage was addressed with additional validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Tahoe 26.5. An app may be able to gain root privileges.
A vulnerability in the CUPS component of Apple macOS Tahoe was introduced by improper validation of directory paths, potentially allowing an application to gain root privileges. This issue has been addressed in the macOS Tahoe 26.5 update.
Users can update to macOS Tahoe 26.5 to address this vulnerability.
