Description
This issue was addressed with improved checks to prevent unauthorized actions. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5. An app may be able to cause a denial-of-service.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in various Apple products, including iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, and watchOS 26.5. This vulnerability allows an application to cause unexpected system termination or corruption of process memory by exploiting a buffer overflow issue. The problem was addressed with improved input validation and memory handling.
