Description
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Tahoe 26.5. An app may be able to access protected user data.
A permissions issue in the Spotlight component of macOS Tahoe prior to 26.5 allows apps to access protected user data. This vulnerability was addressed in the 26.5 update by implementing additional restrictions.
Users can update to macOS Tahoe 26.5 to address this vulnerability.
