Description
A denial of service issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system.
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in the macOS kernel, specifically in the Sequoia 15.7.7, Sonoma 14.8.7, and Tahoe 26.5 versions. This vulnerability allows an application to disrupt system operations unexpectedly. Furthermore, it enables the modification of protected areas within the file system. The issue arises from a flaw in the kernel code, which has been removed in the latest updates.
