Description
A resource exhaustion issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.9 and iPadOS 18.7.9, iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4. A remote attacker may be able to cause a denial-of-service.
A resource exhaustion vulnerability has been identified in Apple iOS and iPadOS. This issue allows a remote attacker to cause a denial-of-service condition on the affected device. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input validation, which can be exploited to exhaust system resources.
Users can update to iOS 18.7.9, iPadOS 18.7.9, iOS 26.4, or iPadOS 26.4 to address this vulnerability.
