Description
An authentication issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.7 and iPadOS 18.7.7, iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4, macOS Sequoia 15.7.5, macOS Sonoma 14.8.5, macOS Tahoe 26.4, tvOS 26.4, visionOS 26.4, watchOS 26.4. An attacker in a privileged network position may be able to intercept network traffic.
A vulnerability in the 802.1X authentication process was identified, which could allow an attacker in a privileged network position to intercept network traffic. This issue was addressed with improved state management and affects multiple Apple operating systems, including iOS 18.7.7, iPadOS 18.7.7, macOS Sequoia 15.7.5, macOS Sonoma 14.8.5, tvOS 26.4, visionOS 26.4, and watchOS 26.4.
Users can update to the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS to address this vulnerability.
