Description
In Telecomm, there is a possible way to initiate an unauthorized phone call due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
A permissions bypass vulnerability has been identified in the Telecomm component of Android, allowing for unauthorized phone calls to be initiated. This issue could result in a local escalation of privilege, with no additional execution privileges required. Exploitation of this vulnerability does not involve user interaction.
Android devices running Android 17 with a security patch level of 2026-07-01 or later are protected against this vulnerability.
