Description
Insufficient Session Expiration, Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay vulnerability in Apache IoTDB. REST Basic Authentication Accepts Stale Cached Credentials This issue affects Apache IoTDB: from 1.0.0 before 2.0.10. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.10, which fixes the issue.
A vulnerability allowing authentication bypass through capture-replay attacks has been identified in Apache IoTDB versions 1.0.0 prior to 2.0.10. This issue arises from insufficient session expiration, allowing stale cached credentials to be accepted in the REST basic authentication process.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache IoTDB version 2.0.10 or later, which addresses this vulnerability.
