CVE-2026-28359 Details
Description
NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to version 0.301.3, an authenticated user with Editor role can inject arbitrary HTML into Rich Text cells by bypassing the TipTap editor and sending raw HTML via the API. This issue has been patched in version 0.301.3.
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in NocoDB versions through 0.301.2. This issue allows an authenticated user with Editor role to inject arbitrary HTML into Rich Text cells. The injection bypasses the TipTap editor's client-side sanitization and is executed via the API. The backend stores the raw HTML without proper server-side sanitization, leading to the execution of malicious scripts for any user viewing the affected cell.
Users can upgrade to NocoDB version 0.301.3 to address this vulnerability.
