Description
Incorrect use of the PUF key for user key generation in EFR32xG27 results in predictable keys
A vulnerability exists in the Silicon Labs EFR32xG27 microcontroller series due to the incorrect application of the Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) key in generating user keys. This flaw allows for the creation of predictable keys, potentially compromising the security of applications that rely on these keys for cryptographic operations.
Users can update to the latest version of the Silicon Labs Simplicity SDK to address this vulnerability. Instructions for downloading the SDK using the supported SLT-CLI or Simplicity Installer are available in the SLT documentation.
