Description
Use-after-free in the JavaScript Engine component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, and Thunderbird 140.8.
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the JavaScript Engine component of Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. This issue affects Firefox versions prior to 148, Firefox ESR versions prior to 140.8, Thunderbird versions prior to 148, and Thunderbird ESR versions prior to 140.8. The vulnerability arises from improper memory management, which can lead to memory corruption. Such corruption may potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary code.
Users can upgrade to Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, or Thunderbird ESR 140.8 to address this vulnerability.
