Description
Use-after-free in the JavaScript Engine: JIT component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148, Firefox ESR 140.8, Thunderbird 148, and Thunderbird 140.8.
A use-after-free vulnerability has been identified in the Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation component of the JavaScript engine used in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. This vulnerability affects Firefox versions prior to 148, Firefox ESR versions prior to 140.8, Thunderbird versions prior to 148, and Thunderbird ESR versions prior to 140.8. The vulnerability arises from improper memory management, allowing for potential exploitation by accessing freed memory regions.
