Description
Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in rascals Vex vex allows Object Injection.This issue affects Vex: from n/a through < 1.2.9.
A deserialization vulnerability allowing object injection has been identified in the WordPress Vex theme, affecting versions prior to 1.2.9. This vulnerability could lead to various types of code injection, including SQL injection, path traversal, and denial-of-service, especially if a suitable property-oriented programming chain is exploited.
Users are advised to update the Vex theme to version 1.2.9 or later. Patchstack has also issued a mitigation rule to block attacks targeting this vulnerability.
