Description
NVIDIA Container Toolkit for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a time-of-check time-of-use race condition. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, and data tampering.
A TOCTOU (time-of-check time-of-use) race condition vulnerability has been identified in the NVIDIA Container Toolkit for Linux and NVIDIA GPU Operator. This vulnerability exists in all versions of the Container Toolkit up to and including 1.19.0, as well as all GPU Operator versions up to and including 26.3.1. The vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to create a race condition, potentially leading to unauthorized code execution, privilege escalation, and data tampering.
