Description
Improper Neutralization of Argument Delimiters in a Command ('Argument Injection') vulnerability in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MicrositeUrl module) allows Web Services Protocol Manipulation. This issue affects Marketing Cloud Engagement: before January 21st, 2026.
A vulnerability allowing argument injection has been identified in the MicrositeUrl module of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement. This issue arises from improper neutralization of argument delimiters, which can be exploited to manipulate web services protocols. The vulnerability affects all versions of Marketing Cloud Engagement prior to January 21, 2026.
Salesforce has deployed a patch for this vulnerability, and Marketing Cloud Engagement customers can now use the updated version, which is not vulnerable to this issue. Links generated in emails sent after January 21, 2026, at 23:00 UTC, utilize the new encryption and are not susceptible to this vulnerability.
