Description
Memory corruption while processing a packet with a size close to the maximum allowed value.
A vulnerability has been identified in various chipsets of Qualcomm products, allowing for memory corruption through integer overflow or wraparound. This issue arises when the data network stack processes packets that are sized close to the maximum limit, potentially leading to unauthorized memory access or manipulation.
Qualcomm has notified device manufacturers about this vulnerability and recommended patching. Instructions for applying the patch can be found in the Qualcomm August 2026 Security Bulletin.
