Description
InDesign Desktop versions 21.1, 20.5.1 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in application denial-of-service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to crash the application, causing disruption to services. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Adobe InDesign Desktop versions 21.1, 20.5.1 and earlier. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to cause a denial-of-service by crashing the application, disrupting services. Exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open a malicious file.
Users can update to Adobe InDesign version 21.2 or 20.5.2. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Creative Cloud Packager to create deployment packages.
