Description
After Effects versions 25.6 and earlier are affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
A vulnerability allowing out-of-bounds write has been identified in Adobe After Effects, affecting versions through 25.6. This vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update to Adobe After Effects version 25.6.4 or 26.0. These updates can be downloaded from the Adobe Download Center. For IT administrators, Creative Cloud applications can be deployed using the Admin Console.
