Description
Dreamweaver Desktop versions 21.6 and earlier are affected by an Improper Input Validation vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file and scope is changed.
A vulnerability allowing arbitrary code execution has been identified in Adobe Dreamweaver Desktop versions 21.6 and earlier. This issue arises from improper input validation, which could enable an attacker to execute malicious code in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires user interaction, as a victim must open a malicious file.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Dreamweaver version 21.7. This update can be downloaded via the Creative Cloud desktop app updater or through the Dreamweaver Help menu by selecting 'Updates.' For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Creative Cloud Packager to create deployment packages.
