Description
A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Tahoe 26.4. A user may be able to elevate privileges.
A logic issue allowing privilege escalation has been identified in the PackageKit component of macOS Tahoe, prior to 26.4. This vulnerability arises from inadequate checks in the entitlement verification process, which could be exploited to gain elevated privileges.
Users can upgrade to macOS Tahoe 26.4 to address this vulnerability.
